I recently had found a friend who wanted to post her poems online so that alot of users could see them if they wanted to. So that led to me finding neocities which is the coolest hosting site I have seen in a long time. not only are they free but they also allow you to deploy directly to them and see the content show up on the screen before your eyes. They are consistant and so far they allow alot of features that I would have thought was only for self hosting your own sites.
My friend, Which I have not setup her account yet, should really find the experience fun and intresting. I know that I will enjoy uploading the images and poems to the site for her. and if she should get to become popular then I can always either take the files off the site directly or ill have them all localy.
Currently, just so you know, I’m using hexo for site creation and using the anodyne theme. I’ll post later on how I’m liking each of them and what I would do differently if I was going to start over again. but so far hexo is insanly fast (for the small amount of files I’m using) and I’m having no visual issue with the theme, I love both of them so much!
thank you for reading, your good friend, super9mega
